This is a close-up view of the observable phenomena within the solar re-director technology. Â This prototype was CNC machined from acrylic, PMMA and hand polished. Â AÂ 520nm laser is made visible with a smoke scattering medium and internal reflection is clearly observed within the optic.
This image demonstrates how the solar re-director technology effectively re-directs off angle light in a direction normal to the bottom surface.
